Uganda is well known as a birding safari paradise; one of the most bird-rich countries of Africa. The diversity and number of birds in this country are truly bountiful. Circle K Safaris has been arranging for safaris to Uganda since the early 1980's and to-date it still remains a favorite birding destination for many. Why, one may ask?

No other area in Africa can match its diversity of habitats. This richness is reflected in its incredible bird list of over 1,000 species. Amongst these are many highly sought-after birds, such as the unique Shoebill and numerous spectacular endemics of the Albertine Rift Valley, currently impossible to find anywhere else. The huge bird list is all the more remarkable given the small size of the country, making it, without any doubt, the richest African birding destination.

We have covered here just a few locations where we organize birding safaris. Destinations we are sure will surpass your expectation. These include:-
