Welcome
to East Africa and Circle K Safaris!
East Africa is the easternmost region of the African continent,
variably defined by geography or geopolitics. "East Africa"
commonly refers to Kenya, Tanzania
and Uganda, and sometimes Rwanda and Burundi. Some parts of
East Africa are renowned for their concentrations of wild animals,
such as the "big five" of elephant, cape buffalo,
lion, leopard and rhinoceros. You are likely to see all these
during your safari in East Africa.
The
geography of East Africa is often stunning and scenic. Shaped
by global plate tectonic forces that have created the Great
Rift Valley, East Africa is the site of Mount Kilimanjaro
and Mount Kenya, the two tallest peaks in Africa. Today, tourism
plays an important part in the economies of Kenya, Uganda,
and Tanzania.
At Circle
K Safaris, we have endeavored to give variety in destinations
and activities to suit various tastes, life styles, and budgets.
On this site, you will find vivid descriptions of various
